Barking and Dagenham MTFC-C team re-accredited
The NIS is delighted to announce that Barking and Dagenham's MTFC-C programme (Pitstop) has become re-accredited with the model developers at Oregon Social Learning Centre Community Programs, based in Oregon, USA.
The team successfully met all seven of the re-accreditation criteria by achieving consistently high scores across the board. This demonstrates their high levels of model adherence which arguably results in better outcomes for the children who go through the programme.
Led by the Programme Supervisor, Dr Almeera Ahmed, and the Programme Manager, Elaine Still, the team continues to maintain very high standards of service delivery. This is particularly important when it is remembered that MTFC is intended for those looked after children who typically present with the highest levels of need.
The re-accreditation period lasts for 3 years.
Congratulations to Dr Ahmed, Elaine Still and all of the other staff and foster carers in Barking and Dagenham.
